Credit Report Authorization

In this authorization, “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to: (1) Evolve Bank & Trust, the issuer of Sparrow credit card, (2) Sparrow Financial, Inc., the servicer of the Sparrow credit card, and (3) their service providers. 

 

By submitting your application for the Sparrow credit card, you are providing written instructions and authorization to us to obtain your consumer credit report from one or more credit reporting agencies to evaluate your application for credit and determine if you qualify for the Sparrow credit card offer.  All uses of your credit report will be in compliance with the Fair Credit Reporting Act, 15 U.S. C. § 1681, et seq.  

 

If you become a Sparrow credit card cardholder, you also authorize us to obtain consumer credit reports and other information about you from time to time in order to evaluate your account for extensions of credit, draws, updates, and renewals, and for the administration, review or collection of your account. Sparrow may also use this information for its business purposes and to offer you other Sparrow products, now or in the future, in accordance with applicable law.   

 

You acknowledge that each time we request your credit information for the purposes described herein that your credit score may be impacted. You are allowed to receive one free consumer report under the Fair Credit Reporting Act from each of the three U.S. national credit reporting agencies (Experian, Equifax, and TransUnion) during any 12-month period. You may also be able to receive free consumer reports as permitted by state law. For information on obtaining a free consumer report from Experian, Equifax or TransUnion, you may contact them directly at www.experian.com, www.equifax.com, and www.transunion.com. 

 

As a benefit of your Sparrow account, we provide you access to view your monthly credit score and credit report information. This information is provided to you for educational purposes, and for your personal, non-commercial, review, use and benefit. Your monthly credit score and credit report information are being provided “as-is”, and we make no representations, warranties, or other assurances about your monthly credit score and credit report information, including whether the credit score and credit report information are accurate. It might take up to 60 days after your account has been opened for your credit score information to be available to you. Thereafter, your credit score and credit report information will be updated on a monthly basis. Access to view your monthly credit score and credit report information require access to the Sparrow mobile application. You may not be able to view your credit score and credit report information through this program if you lose access to the Sparrow mobile application for any reason, such as your account being blocked or closed due to the failure to maintain your account in good standing. From time to time, system or technology constraints may also prevent your credit score and credit report information from being available or being updated in a timely manner. This service is subject to change or cancellation without notice. The terms of this program, and your use of this program, are governed by our Terms of Use and the other applicable terms and conditions contained in your Cardholder Agreement, including the arbitration provision, if applicable. By your use of the Sparrow credit card, Sparrow mobile application and other services, you provide your consent to these terms and conditions.
